Kompanion Bank Team is looking for Head of Collections

Job Responsibilities:

• General supervision of the department's activities, monitoring employees' compliance with labor discipline.

• Providing consultative and practical assistance to bank employees in the area of problem debt recovery, as well as working with problem debts.

• Assisting and supervising the work of the Credit Department Head in assessing the risk level of borrowers' loans. Providing consultations to Credit Department employees on problem loans.

• Monitoring the timely resolution of issues with clients and borrowers.

• Conducting analysis on the emergence and prevention of problem debts.

• Studying, analyzing, and summarizing the results of claims, lawsuits, and the practice of concluding and executing business contracts to develop proposals for eliminating identified shortcomings and improving the bank’s economic and financial activities.

• Monitoring the correctness of entering and modifying statuses of judicial loans in the bank’s ABS (Automated Banking System) on an ongoing basis.

• Preparing analytical reports on problem debts on a periodic basis and providing consultations to branch employees.

Our expectations from the candidate:

• Higher education in economics or law.

• At least two years of experience in credit organizations, with at least one year in a managerial position (preferred).

• Knowledge of legislative and regulatory acts, provisions, and instructions of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic (NBKR) regulating the bank's credit activities.

• Knowledge of legal foundations of lending to individuals and legal entities, as well as the execution of collateral transactions.

• Knowledge of management principles and internal control.

• Proficiency in Russian and Kyrgyz languages.

• Computer literacy.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and managerial skills.
