Kompanion Bank Team is looking for Data Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop SQL queries;

• Design and build Data Marts;

• Optimize SQL queries;

• Develop solutions using Python;

• Develop and maintain Python scripts for reading data from Kafka, using Debezium to process streaming data and real-time state changes;

• Create and maintain Airflow DAGs as an orchestrator for all processes;

• Document processes and architecture;

• Create and maintain documentation for research and development tasks;

• Share knowledge with colleagues on best practices for DWH development and maintenance.

Candidate Requirements:

Education:

• Higher education in Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience:

• Experience in developing Data Warehouses (DWH) and/or databases;

• Experience in developing ETL processes.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SQL (including query optimization);

• Experience working with DBMS, particularly PostgreSQL, Greenplum, ClickHouse, as well as other relational databases;

• Experience with ETL tools such as Airflow, Talend, Informatica, or similar;

• Experience working with Debezium and Kafka for streaming data pipelines;

• Knowledge and experience using Jinja2 for templating configurations and scripts;

• Experience working with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with analysts, business analysts, and other developers;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Flexibility, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong organizational skills.
