Kompanion Bank Team is looking for Database Administrator, IT Services Department

Job Responsibilities:

• Support and administration of Microsoft SQL Server (including Always On cluster with asynchronous replication).

• Monitoring the status of databases, fault tolerance, and availability.

• Setting up and supporting Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures.

• Managing backups and data recovery processes.

• Controlling resource usage, configuring alerts, and monitoring events.

• Participating in planning updates and patches for SQL Server.

• Collaborating with the infrastructure and development teams on database performance and stability.

Our Expectations from the Candidate:

• At least 2 years of experience in administering Microsoft SQL Server.

• In-depth knowledge of Always On clusters and the principles of asynchronous replication.

• Experience with backups and recovery processes.

• Understanding the principles of fault tolerance and Disaster Recovery (DR).

• Ability to read execution plans and understand the impact of indexes.

• Proficiency in English at a level sufficient for reading documentation and attending training.
