An agricultural “Spring Fair 2019” took place in the sunny city of Karakol on March 16, gardeners and stock-breeders of the Issyk-Kul region, entrepreneurs engaged in transformation of agricultural products and representatives of tourist companies of the region took part in the Fair.
"Spring Fair 2019" was organized in the purposes of strengthening market relations between buyers and sellers of agricultural products, as well as development of tourism business in the region.
More than 1000 guests from nearby regions of Kyrgyzstan had visited the Fair, they had an opportunity to purchase fresh jam, natural fruit juices, sweet smelling mountain honey, meat and meat prepared food at producer prices. An exhibition of home-grown cattle and small ruminants, poultry, decorative pigeons, caused big interest among the guests of the event, as well as the sale of seedlings and seeds of fruit crops and flowers.
The Kompanion Bank – an initiator of the event, organized a roundtable discussion for participants of the Fair, during which entrepreneurs exchanged experiences and contacts. As a result of discussing the standardization of products and market outlets, all entrepreneurs came to a consensus on integrating efforts and cooperation in regional associations.
Employees of the Bank’s Community Training and Development Department, who are certified agronomists and veterinarians, provided free consultations for guests in the framework of the fair. Many of them were interested in kinds of fruit trees to be acquired, how to properly clip them, how to build barns for livestock and take care of animals.
Letters of gratitude for assistance in organizing the event were presented to 50 participants of the fair.
18 young winners of the Children's Drawings Contest among schoolchildren of Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region received certificates on opening a saving deposit in the Kompanion Bank.
“In September 2019 the Kompanion Bank will hold the XIV Annual Apple Festival in Karakol. We invite everyone to take part in the event”, - Natalia Fefilova, the Kompanion Bank’s EMT member, stated in her complimentary speech to participants of the event.
The First Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in Issyk-Kul region Damir Monoldorov, the Head of Zhyrgalan aiyl aimak Talgat Mukalaev and the Head of Barskoon aiyl aimak Ruslan Eshmambetov attended the event.
