Margarita Cherikbaeva appointed to the Board of Directors of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV)

Margarita Cherikbaeva, Chairperson of the Management Board of CJSC Bank Kompanion, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV)during its Annual Meeting held in Kampala, Uganda, on March 10–13, 2025.

This is a milestone achievement for Bank Kompanion and the country. Joining the GABV Board is a recognition of Bank Kompanion’s leadership, impact, and contributionto the development of values-based banking in Kyrgyzstan and the region. In this role, Margarita Cherikbaeva will participate in shaping and implementing strategies that promote sustainable development in banking, with a focus on positive social and environmental impact.

Margarita Cherikbaeva holds a Master’s degree in Economicsfrom Trier University, Germany, and a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA)from the Paris School of Business. She currently serves as the Chairperson of the Management Board of CJSC Bank Kompanion.
