AGRO Training for Migrant Families: Theory and Practice in One Day

On February 20, the first AGRO training for migrant families was held in Kara-Suu village, Kochkor district, Naryn region, on the topic “Pruning of Fruit Trees.”

The training was organized in a format combining both theory and practice. The theoretical session took place at Shapak Rysmendeev Secondary School, where participants gained structured knowledge about proper pruning techniques, timing of pruning activities, and the impact of agricultural practices on crop yield.

The practical session was conducted in the school’s orchard. Participants immediately applied their knowledge in practice: reviewing common mistakes, practicing pruning techniques, and asking questions related to specific situations.

For migrant families, such initiatives have practical value. The knowledge gained helps increase yields, improve product quality, and strengthen the sustainability of household farms.

The AGRO training marked an important step in supporting rural communities and developing practical skills that are in demand at the local level.
