Kompanion Bank congratulates all clients with World Savings Day, whichwas established in 1924 during the first International Savings Banks Congress.

Within the framework of the World Savings Week, Kompanion Bank took an active participation in the financial fair in Bishkek Park shopping center, organized by the SFIS and in Dordoy Plaza II shopping center, organized by the NBKR and the German Saving BanksFoundation, where guests learned useful information about effective methods of moneysaving, participated in interactive quiz and received gifts.

Events dedicated to celebration of World Savings Week were held under slogan “When dreams become opportunities”.  More than 400 guests attended Open Doors Days at 18 Kompanion Bank offices throughout the country and got consultations on personal financial planning, accumulation of savings, and rational use of financial services. Bank staff also conducted a series of financial literacy trainings for more than 700 college and university students throughout Kyrgyzstan.

Kompanion Bank annually takes participation in celebration of World Savings Week: more than 365 financial literacy trainings were conducted for 8613 participantsover the past year.

The goal of these initiatives is inoculation of savings culture and increase of financial literacy of the population.
