Deposits of Kompanion Bank CJSC clients are under state protection

On January 16, 2016, Kompanion Bank CJSC became a participant of the deposit protection system of the Kyrgyz Republic. It was reported by PR department of the bank. The state guarantee system ensures protection of population’s savings, allocated in deposits of Kompanion Bank CJSC. These mechanisms of protection are implemented in accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On protection of bank deposits,” according to which upon occurrence of a guarantee event, depositors will be paid compensation up to KGS 200K including deposit interests.  

“By becoming a participant of this system, Kompanion Bank facilitates protection of financial interests of population. When residents of our country trust their savings to Kompanion, they can be sure of the safety of cash funds and their accrual. Kompanion Bank will provide customized deposit products,” – Chief Executive Officer of Kompanion Bank CJSC Ulanbek Termechikov said. 

As noted by the Agency on Deposit Protection of the Kyrgyz Republic, the bank deposit protection system is intended to ensure additional protection of rights and legal interests of depositors of commercial banks, to enhance confidence in the banking system and encourage savings of population to the banking system of the country.

 We remind that Kompanion Bank CJSC obtained licenses of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic for the right to conduct banking operations in the national and foreign currencies dated January 11, 2016. The Bank has wide branch network, provides to residents of the most remote regions of the country with access to bank products and business development services. To date the Kompanion Bank has 113,000 clients, 900 employees, over 100 branches and savings offices throughout the country.
