Kompanion Financial Group provided assistance to residents of Batken Oblast who were affected by fire

Kompanion Financial Group rendered support to residents of Batken Oblast who lost their summer houses in fire on Bulak-Bashy djayloo located in the border area. For the purpose of providing assistance, Kompanion allocated funds to buy and to deliver nine tents for families that were left homeless. On March 3, 2015 Erkinbek Jumabaev, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Kompanion Financial Group, met with residents of Batken Oblast in Bujum village and handed over the purchased tents to the affected families.

 Ulukbek Kochkorov, a Member of Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Akim (Head) of Batken region, representatives of local administration and businesses participated in the meeting as well.

“I would like to express many thanks to the Company for the moral and financial support provided to the border-zone residents. I believe that this campaign will infuse even more hope and confidence into people that our borders are protected,” Ulukbek Kochkorov noted.

Local residents that were affected by fire said that the support would help them to start spring works on time.

“We are engaged mainly in animal husbandry. We leave to jailoo (summer pasture) in April and come back in fall. On December 24, 2014 we found out that our houses on pasture were burnt. The support provided is very important to us. We would like to thank Kompanion for the support.” –Seidakmat Tilembaev, stock-breeder, shared.

“We can continue our activities with tents, we will have shelter. Thank you for help!” – Azada Azimova, resident of Batken oblast, added.
