Bitter Loss. Ulanbek Termechikov Passed Away

We inform you with deep sorrow that today, on March 2, our colleague Ulanbek Termechikov, former CEO of Kompanion Bank, passed away at the age of 44 years.  For one year he struggled with a serious illness, but unfortunately, the illness ended his bright, but short life.

We will remember Ulanbek Termechikov as a wise manager who led Kompanion 8 years from 2009 until July 2017. He brought our Bank to a high level of achievement and prosperity. His passion and dedication to work in Kompanion made an invaluable contribution during the transformation of the Kompanion from a microfinance organization into a full-fledged bank.  He put himself to work 200% and confidently led the whole team forward, overcoming obstacles and always being a great leader.  At the same time Ulanbek Termechikov really showed concern for those he worked with and truly loved Kompanion.

Ulanbek Termechikov will forever remain in our hearts not only as a leader and wise manager, but also as a true friend, a caring family man and father.

The Executive Management Team and the whole staff of Kompanion express sincere condolences to the family of Ulanbek Termechikov.

The funeral of Ulanbek Termechikov will be held on Sunday, March 4 in his home-town village  Kichi Shalta.

Brief information about Ulanbek Termechikov:

After 10 successful years of work at the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, Termechikov Ulanbek Azisovich began his career in Kompanion in 2006 as a CFO.  In 2009, he was appointed as a CEO of Kompanion Financial Group CJSC. Ulanbek Termechikov led Kompanion for 8 years until July 2017.  During time of his lead, Kompanion received a banking license, significantly expanded the list of services and more than doubled Bank’s assets.
