Bank Kompanion participated in the Global Money Week financial fair at Osh State University

On April 2, Bank Kompanion took part in the financial fair held at Osh State University as part of the international Global Money Week initiative.

The event brought together students, faculty, and financial sector experts, serving as a platform for open dialogue on modern financial tools and personal finance management skills.

Representatives of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Deposit Protection Agency, and other banks in the country also participated in the fair.

The Global Money Week 2026 slogan — “Smart money talks” — highlights the importance of responsible financial behavior and improving financial literacy among young people.

Focus on practical knowledge

At the Bank Kompanion booth, students had the opportunity to:

• receive консультации on financial products

• learn about mobile banking solutions

• ask questions about safe use of financial services

Special attention was given to developing personal finance management skills and understanding modern financial tools.

Direct engagement with youth

The fair format enabled direct interaction with students. Participants showed strong interest in digital solutions, cashless payments, and convenient ways to manage finances.

“It was really interesting because everything was explained using simple, real-life examples. Now I better understand how to manage my expenses and use banking apps,” said Aziret, a student at Osh State University.

The Bank Kompanion team presented solutions that make financial services accessible, simple, and user-friendly.

Educational initiatives across the country

As part of Global Money Week, Bank Kompanion conducted a series of trainings across Kyrgyzstan for different age groups — from schoolchildren to adults. A special video in the format “Kids to kids about financial literacy” was produced to explain key financial concepts in a simple and engaging way.
