Bank Kompanion warns you about new types of fraud. Please stay vigilant!

Every day, fraudsters become harder to detect, using increasingly sophisticated schemes to steal money from bank cards, e-wallets, mobile apps, and internet banking.

This time, scammers are posing as representatives of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. They call individuals and falsely claim that someone is trying to open a loan in their name. To “protect” the client, they advise opening an online loan yourself through the banking app — assuring that the bank will cancel it afterward.
But once the loan is opened, the fraudsters transfer all the money out.

REMEMBER:

• Representatives of the National Bank will never call clients.
  If someone calls claiming to be from the “National Bank” or a “bank” and you have doubts — contact your bank’s official customer support.
  Do not call back the same number, even if it looks official. Instead, dial the number manually as listed on the bank’s official website.

• Never share secret SMS codes, the CVV code from the back of your card, or passwords for internet banking or the mobile app — not even with bank employees.

If You Encounter This Situation:

• Immediately call Bank Kompanion's Customer Support and block your card, mobile app, or online banking account.

• You can also block the Kompanion mobile app yourself and log out from all devices.

• Be sure to report the fraud attempt to both the bank and law enforcement authorities.
