Being offered easy money for your bank card?

Your card is not a product and not a tool for someone else's business.

“You don't need to do anything. Just get a bank card and hand it over to us. We'll pay you for it.”

Such offers are becoming increasingly common on social media and messaging apps. At first glance, they may seem harmless. In reality, your card or account may be used to transfer or cash out money linked to fraud and other illegal activities.

Remember: your bank card, account, login credentials, password, PIN code, and SMS verification codes are issued exclusively for your personal use.

When you share them with others, you lose control over how and for what purpose they are used.

If someone offers you money in exchange for your card or access to your account, that's a reason to refuse — not to agree.

Protect your personal data. Don't become a tool in someone else's fraudulent scheme.
