BEWARE, FRAUDSTERS ARE USING THE NAME OF KOMPANION BANK
BEWARE, FRAUDSTERS ARE USING THE NAME OF KOMPANION BANK
Dear Clients,
We have received reports of fake ads on Facebook promising “earnings” for filling out a form and entering your phone number. These ads illegally use the name and card image of Kompanion Bank.
What you need to know:
Kompanion Bank never runs promotions that require you to enter your phone number or banking details through social media.
Fraudsters may later call you and attempt to steal your money by asking for a one-time password (OTP) from an SMS.
If you share your OTP, criminals can withdraw your funds via the Bank’s mobile app.
How to protect yourself:
Do not click on links in suspicious ads.
Never share your OTP, PIN code, or internet banking password with anyone — even if they claim to be bank employees.
Always verify information from official sources — Kompanion Bank publishes promotions only on its official website and verified social media pages.
In case of doubt, call our Contact Center immediately: 8800 or WhatsApp/Telegram: +996 770 33 88 00.
Report suspicious ads directly on Facebook (instructions below).
Your security is our priority. Stay vigilant and share this warning with your family and friends!
How to report a suspicious ad on Facebook:
Tap the three dots (•••) in the upper right corner of the ad.
Select “Report ad.”
Choose a reason:
“Scam or fraud”
“Pretending to be another business” (if available).
Follow the prompts and submit your report.
Helpful tips:
Take a screenshot of the ad before reporting (it may be deleted quickly).
You can also send the screenshot to Kompanion Bank via the official website, the chat in the mobile app, or the Bank’s verified Facebook page — we will forward it further.
The more reports are submitted, the faster Facebook removes such ads.
