BANK KOMPANION JOINS THE GLOBAL INITIATIVE  

Next week, on October 27, the world will celebrate World Savings Day 2025 — a global campaign designed to remind people about the importance of financial literacy, a culture of saving, and trust in the banking system.
The event is marked annually on October 31, bringing together hundreds of countries and millions of participants.

A BRIEF HISTORY

World Savings Day was established in 1924 during the First International Savings Bank Congress in Milan, Italy.
It was initiated by Professor Filippo Ravizza, who emphasized the need to value saving and use money responsibly.
In 1989, the United Nations officially recognized this date, making it a global symbol of financial responsibility, stability, and trust.

KYRGYZSTAN JOINS THE CAMPAIGN

This year, financial institutions across Kyrgyzstan — including Bank Kompanion — are participating in the nationwide information and education campaign “World Savings Day – 2025.”

The mission of the campaign is to:

- promote financial literacy,

- foster a culture of saving,

- teach people how to manage personal finances and protect themselves from fraud.

WHAT BANK KOMPANION IS DOING

Bank Kompanion is hosting a series of events under the motto “To Save is to Protect,”
in collaboration with schools, partners, and clients, focusing on financial awareness, responsibility, and security.

Our goal - saving is not just about putting money aside — it’s about protecting yourself, your data, and your future.

Closing Day: October 31, 2025 Financial Fair, Bishkek, National Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic.
