UPDATED RULES FOR ISSUANCE AND SERVICING OF BANK PAYMENT CARDS OF BANK KOMPANION
Dear Clients,
Please be informed that, starting from 11 November 2025, amendments to the Rules for the Issuance and Servicing of Bank Payment Cards of CJSC “Bank Kompanion” will come into effect.
These changes are aimed at enhancing the security of card transactions and improving the quality of our services.
Key updates include:
- new provisions prohibiting the transfer or sale of a payment card to third parties;
- clarification of the cardholder’s responsibility under the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in cases of involvement in fraudulent activities using the card or its details;
- the period of card inactivity has been reduced to 12 months — after this period, if no transactions are performed, the Bank reserves the right to close the card and apply fees in accordance with the Bank’s Tariffs;
- 60 days after the card’s expiration date, if the card has not been renewed at the client’s initiative and the account balance is zero, the Bank reserves the right to close the card;
- the funds conversion mechanism for transactions made with payment cards has been updated.
