Financial Literacy Training for Migrant Families Held in Kyzyl-Suu Village
Financial Literacy Training for Migrant Families Held in Kyzyl-Suu Village
Bank Kompanion conducted a financial literacy training for residents of Kyzyl-Suu village in the Jeti-Oguz district.
A key feature of the session was that participants were grandparents from migrant families, who today play a crucial role in raising children and managing household finances. Representatives of 26 families took part in the training.
Financial literacy as a tool for protection
During the session, participants discussed practical issues they face in everyday life:
- how to safely receive and use remittances
- how to avoid becoming victims of fraud
- how to manage a family budget
- how to use banking services safely
Special attention was given to financial security and fraud prevention, as older people are more often targeted by мошенники. The training was designed to be simple and accessible, using real-life situations, examples, and interactive discussion.
Supporting migrant families
Bank Kompanion systematically works to improve financial literacy, with a focus on vulnerable groups.
Migrant families are an important part of society, where financial decisions are often made remotely, and the responsibility for managing funds lies with the older generation. Initiatives like this help strengthen financial resilience and reduce risks related to fraud and misuse of funds.
Bank Kompanion will continue implementing educational initiatives aimed at improving financial literacy and enhancing customer security.
